On 06/21/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Wright Dr. / Wright Ct, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Sean Stemmet, 39 years old of Nashville, Tennessee, was under the influence. Stemmet was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Stemmet was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
