On 06/21/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E. Sandwich Rd. / Pratt Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Tonya Martin, 47 years old of Waterman, Illinois, was under the influence. Martin was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. Martin was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
