On 03/19/24 Sandwich Officers conducted a follow-up in the 0-99 block of E. Church St, Sandwich in reference to a Domestic Disturbance that occurred the night before. After further investigation, it was determined that Ismail S. Shaikh, 42 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, had battered a family member. Shaikh was placed under arrest for Domestic Battery. Shaikh was processed and transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a bond hearing.
