🚨 Interested in Becoming a Police Explorer?
The Sandwich Police Explorers Program is now accepting applications of motivated individuals ages 14–20 who want to challenge themselves, develop leadership skills, and learn what it takes to work in law enforcement.
As an Explorer you will:
🔹 Participate in hands-on police training
🔹 Learn radio communication and investigations
🔹 Train in realistic law enforcement scenarios
🔹 Build teamwork and leadership skills
🔹 Assist with community events
🔹 Experience the profession firsthand
This program is a commitment, but it is also a great opportunity to gain experience, build confidence, and grow as a leader.
📅 Meetings are held every other Saturday and Wednesday

Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and continue through this evening, ending overnight for areas southeast of Interstate 80. The main threats are large hail and flooding for areas north of I-80. All severe weather hazards are possible along and south of Interstate 80, including the possibility for strong tornadoes.
