Whether you're driving through a school zone, approaching a school bus, or traveling near students walking to school, a little extra patience and attention can make all the difference.
🚫 A friendly reminder for families at Prairie View Elementary: Parking is not permitted on W. Pleasant Ave. between N. Castle St. and Bayberry Ct. This applies to both the north and south sides of W. Pleasant Ave.

The rain and extreme heat gave us a break for the Safety Without Fear event at the Moose Lodge!
The premise of the event was to help individuals with disabilities build confidence and trust with first responders through positive sensory friendly interactions. It’s a great idea and we’d love to be a part of this in the future as the event grows!
Members of Moose Lodge 1016 presented us with several Tommy the Moose’s (mooses? moosi?) to have in our squad cars at the ready for a child that may need some calming. Thanks for being a valuable community partner!

On August 6th, Chief Senne, Sergeant Whitecotton, School Resource Officer French, Officer Hegland and Officer Dwyer attended the Back to School Bash at Prairie View Elementary School!
Our officers enjoyed spending time with students and their families while handing out popsicles to help everyone beat the heat and pencils to help students get ready for a successful school year.
