Happy Father’s Day from the Sandwich Police Department.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who lead with strength, love, patience, and sacrifice. Fathers play a vital role in the lives of their children, teaching values, offering guidance, and helping shape the future one day at a time.

To all the dads in our community and beyond, thank you for everything you do for your families and for the example you set each day.

We wish you a safe, happy, and well deserved Father’s Day.

As Law Enforcement Civilian Personnel Appreciation Week continues, the Sandwich Police Department would like to recognize two outstanding members of our Support Services Division.

Wendy Flowers, Support Services Supervisor, and Mary Bryant, Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police, play vital roles in the daily operations of our department. Their professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail help ensure our officers and staff have the support they need to serve our community effectively.

From managing critical administrative functions to assisting the public and supporting department operations behind the scenes, Wendy and Mary are an essential part of the Sandwich Police Department team.

Thank you both for your hard work, commitment, and service to our department and the citizens of Sandwich. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.

Summer time is Walk & Talk season, where our officers hit the sidewalks in an effort to have conversations with our community! You can share your concerns, talk about the weather, or maybe we can share our frustrations on how awful the Cubs have been playing as of late, whatever you want!

First up is Fairwind Subdivision on Saturday June 27th @ 2pm. With all of the new development we will be focusing on the western and southern portions of the neighborhood including Prairie Wind Dr. / Oakmont Ct. / Briarwood Ct. / South Wind Dr. areas.
