We stopped by Fox Valley Community Services today and accidentally stepped into the arena…

Waiting for us were the American Chair Volleyball Gladiators:

Becky “The Smasher”
Jim “The Junkyard Dog”
Sherri “The Striker”

Bad idea.

Within minutes, our officers went from confident…to survival mode. These three brought the heat and had us questioning all of our life choices.

Safe to say…we were not ready.

Awesome time with an even better group. We’ll be back…after some training. 💪

Today we recognize Administrative Professionals Day and extend our sincere appreciation to Wendy Flowers and Mary Bryant, who keep our department running smoothly behind the scenes. Their professionalism, organization, and dedication ensure that our officers and staff can serve the community effectively every day. From managing day to day operations, preparing police reports for surrounding State's Attorney's Offices, preparing bills, satisfying FOIA request, etc etc etc (there are too many ect's to mention) their contributions are essential to our mission. Thank you for all that you do!!! 💙

Today Chief Senne and Officer Hegland picked up a side gig…cheerleaders.

They stopped by Fox Valley Community Services to back our Sandwich crew as they took on the Aurora chapter in Chair Volleyball. No uniforms issued, but they made it clear where their loyalty stands.

We’re proud to support this group and grateful to call them our friends.

Trying to wrangle this fella up. Could be a new spin on a “K9 Unit”. “Fox Unit”? Need to work on the name.

Although, now I’m having second thoughts. He(she?) just got chased off by a Goose. Hmmmm. Maybe a “Goose Unit” would be more effective. Still need to work on the name.
