On 06/19/26 Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1200-block of Lauren Dr, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery had taken place. Wendy Leifheit, 67 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was placed under arrest. Leifheit was charged with one (1) count of Battery and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
