On 02/21/25 Officers responded to the 500-block of N. West St, Sandwich in reference to a vehicle that struck an object causing damage and left the scene. Upon further investigation the vehicle and the driver, Joel Skinner, 60-year-old of Sandwich, Illinois, were identified and located. Skinner was issued a citation for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and released on a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
