On 08/25/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South County Line Rd. and Hickory Loop Dr, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Xavier R. Godfrey, 20 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Xavier was placed under arrest and processed at the Sandwich Police Department. Xavier was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and issued a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
