On 8/3/2023 Sandwich Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of E. Church St., Sandwich. Upon further investigation Jeffrey A. Swanson, 21 of Batavia, Illinois, was suspected of driving while under the influence. Swanson was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Swanson was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
