On 05/23/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. 48th Rd and E. 2750th Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Katie McLaughlin, 30 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. McLaughlin was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. McLaughlin was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
