On 07/14/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of E. Railroad St. and S. Dayton St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Robert R. Maisonet, 28 years old of Sandwich, was under the influence. Maisonet was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. Maisonet was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08. He was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
