On 8/17/2023 Sandwich Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E. Church St. and Dayton St. Upon further investigation Juan M. Gonzalez, 37 of Yorkville, Illinois, was suspected of driving while under the influence. Gonzalez was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Gonzalez was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
