On 10/16/26 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300-block of W. 5th St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was found that a Domestic Battery had occurred and Rachel E. Townsend, 21 years old of Sandwich, Illinois was placed under arrest. Townsend was charged with two (2) counts of felony Domestic Battery and was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois for housing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
