On 05/12/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Main St. and 2nd St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Emanuel Richmond, 24 years old of Aurora, Illinois, was under the influence. Richmond was placed under arrest and processed at the Sandwich Police Department. He was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and issued a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
