On 02/12/26 Detectives made contact with Laura Steffens at the Sandwich Police Department who wished to turn herself in on a warrant initially filed by SPD for Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Person and felony Theft. Steffens was processed and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
