On 03/09/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. 48th Rd. and E. 2750th Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Samantha Hornbaker, 25 years old of Montgomery, Illinois, was under the influence. Hornbaker was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Hornbaker was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC of over .08. She was issued a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
