On 09/29/24 Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300-block of Pearl St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that Paul Schmitt, 34 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, committed a Domestic Battery. Schmitt was placed under arrest and transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing. Schmitt was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Battery.
