On 06/22/25 Officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of South County Line Rd and S. Main St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Melissa Brown, 47 years old of Sheridan, Illinois, was under the influence. Brown was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Brown was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC > .08 and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
