On 09/27/25 Officers responded to a traffic crash in the area of E. Church St. and S. Dayton St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the involved driver, Alison M. Tang, 30 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Tang was placed under arrest and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC > .08, Endangering the Life or Health of a Child, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Tang was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
