On 11/08/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E. Center St and N. Main St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Francisco Ramirez-Garcia, 36 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence of alcohol. Ramirez-Garcia was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Ramirez-Garcia was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08. He was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
