On 09/09/2023 Sandwich Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of S. Green St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that Andrew B. McNeal, 49 of Sandwich, Illinois, battered a family member. While taking McNeal into custody he resisted arrest. Once McNeal was secured he was processed at the Sandwich Police Department. After processing he was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a bond hearing. McNeal was charged with two (2) counts of Domestic Battery and Resisting a Peace Officer.
