On 09/04/2023 Sandwich Officers received a complaint of an adult male giving an unwanted kiss to a female juvenile in the 100 block of E. Church St. Upon further investigation Armando Guzman, 33 and local transient, was positively identified as being the suspect. Officers located Guzman in the 400 block of E. Church St, Sandwich, at which time he was placed under arrest. After conferring with the DeKalb County State’s Attorney’s Office it was determined that Guzman would be charged with two (2) counts of misdemeanor Battery. Guzman was processed at the Sandwich Police Department and later released with a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
