On 10/24/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Pearl St. and College St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Vincent Koenig, 36 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Koenig was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Koenig was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
