On 02/17/25 Officers responded to the 1100-block of E. Railroad St, Sandwich, to check on the status of a subject reported to be not acting right. Upon further investigation the subject, Matthew J. Hessling, 36-year-old of Sandwich, Illinois, was found to be in possession of suspected drugs. Hessling was placed under arrest and issued a criminal complaint for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felony). Hessling was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
