On 02/01/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of W. Church St. and Gletty Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Rachel Golden, 48 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Golden was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Golden was issued citations for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
