On 12/06/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 900-block of E. Church St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver, Luz Del Carmen Hernandez Rodriguez, 47 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Rodriguez was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
