On 12/15/23 Sandwich Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Main St. and S. County Line Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver, Vicente Trujillo-Aguilar, 38 years old of West Chicago, Illinois, was suspected of being under the influence and also did not possess a valid driver’s license. Trujillo-Aguilar was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. He was subsequently charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and No Valid Driver’s License. After processing was completed, Trujillo-Aguilar was released with a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
