On 07/19/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of E. Church St. and S. Wells St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Geovanni G. Chacon, 21 years old of Montgomery, Illinois, was under the influence. Chacon was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Chacon was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
