On 09/23/26 Officers responded to a single vehicle crash in the area of Fairwind Blvd. and W. Church St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Volodymyr Zosimenko, 42 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Zosimenko was placed under arrest and cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While License Suspended. He was later released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
