On 07/04/26 Officers responded to the area of the 600-block of Pleasant Ave, Sandwich, for a domestic disturbance. After further investigation it was determined that a battery had taken place involving household members. James Gurrola, 33 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was placed under arrest and charged with Domestic Battery. Gurrola was transported to the DeKalb County jail in Sycamore, Illinois pending a hearing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
