On 07/02/26 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100-block of Duvick Ave, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was determined that the driver, Yazmin Gomez, 25 years old of Paw Paw, Illinois, possessed two (2) valid arrest warrants: 1) Failure to Appear for Contempt of Court out of Lee County and 2) Failure to Appear for Excessive Speed out of Kane County. Gomez was placed under arrest and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, Illinois, to await extradition.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
