On 07/01/26 Officers were advised by DeKalb County Dispatch that Gerald Johnson, 43 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was calling 9-1-1 repeatedly for non-emergency related matters in the 700-block of E. Railroad St, Sandwich. Johnson was warned by Officers, yet continued. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Johnson was charged with Disorderly Conduct (Misuse of 9-1-1) and released with a Notice to Appear at a future court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
