On 06/22/25 Officers investigated a domestic disturbance in the 900-block of N. Latham St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation Officers discovered a domestic battery had taken place. The suspect, Jonathan Oliver, 49 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was located in the 9000-block of Somonauk Rd, Hinckley, where he was taken into custody. Ultimately, Oliver was transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois for housing. Oliver was charged with 2 counts of Domestic Battery (Class A misdemeanor).
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
