On 05/08/25 Officers responded to the 900-block of N. Latham St, Sandwich, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery occurred involving family members. Jonathan R. Oliver, 49-year-old of Sandwich, Illinois, was arrested on two counts of Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor) and a single count of Unlawful Interference with Reporting of Domestic Violence. Oliver was processed at the Sandwich Police Department and ultimately transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
