On 12/08/24 Officers responded to the 1100-block of E. Railroad St. for a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery occurred involving family members. Kurtis J. Gunier, 36 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was arrested on two counts of Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor). Gunier was processed at the Sandwich Police Department and ultimately transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing.
