On 10/27/24 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sandhurst Dr and Whitetail Ln, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Eric Riggs, 58 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Riggs was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Riggs was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to a Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
