On 08/04/26 Officers responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of E. 1st St, Sandwich. While on scene the offender was identified as Angelica Alvarez-Penaloza, 34 years old of Sandwich, Illinois. Officers were aware Alvarez-Penaloza was wanted on an original DeKalb County warrant for Retail Theft. Alvarez=Penaloza was placed under arrest, processed and issued a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County Court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
