On 10/04/25 Officers responded to a traffic crash in the 300 block of N. Eddy St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the involved Male Juvenile driver, 17 years old of Sheridan, Illinois, was under the influence. The Male Juvenile was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. The Male Juvenile was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC > .08. The Male Juvenile was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
