On 10/04/25 Officers attempted to conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Latham St. and Pleasant Ave, Sandwich, at which time the vehicle fled from Officers. Upon further investigation the driver was identified as, J. A. Duran-Garcia, 39 years old of Aurora, Illinois. Duran-Garcia was later located by Kane County who took Duran-Garcia into custody on our behalf. Duran-Garcia was then transported and turned over into our custody. Duran-Garcia was charged with Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Driving While License Revoked, and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Duran-Garcia was processed and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
