On 09/07/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the S. County Line Rd. and E. 29th Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Angelo N. Hovorka, 24 years old of Montgomery, Illinois, was under the influence. Hovorka was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Hovorka was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future LaSalle County court date in Ottawa, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
