On 07/12/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Latham St. and E. 6th St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver, Alex J. Rodriguez-Ampier, 33 years old of Hinckley, Illinois, possessed an active DuPage County warrant for failing to appear on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. Rodriguez-Ampier was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. After processing Rodriguez-Ampier posted bond and was released with a future DuPage County court date in Wheaton, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
