On 06/08/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of W. Church St. and Gletty Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Steven Wilhelm, 36 years old of Honolulu, Hawaii, was under the influence. Wilhelm was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Wilhelm was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
