On 05/25/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Main St and College St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Nathan Wheeler, 24 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, was under the influence. Wheeler was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Wheeler was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
