On 07/06/24 Officers responded to a single vehicle motor cycle crash in the area of South County Line Rd and S. Main St, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, James Bradstreet, 57 years old of Aurora, Illinois, under the influence. Bradstreet was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. Bradstreet was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08. He was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
