On 09/16/2023 Sandwich Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Main St. and S. County Line Rd, Sandwich, after observing a moving violation. Upon further investigation it was found that the driver, Armando Alanis, 44 of Aurora, Illinois, was driving with a revoked Illinois driver’s license. Alanis was placed under arrest and processed at the Sandwich Police Department. Alanis was charged with Driving While License Revoked and later released with a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
