on 12/21/25 Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Main St. and Junior Dr, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that the driver, Martin Aguilera-Barraza Jr, 28 years old of Batavia, Illinois, was under the influence. Aguilera-Barraza was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Aguilera-Barraza was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
