On 09/18/25 Officers responded to a traffic crash in the area of E. Church St. and Griswold Springs Rd, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was suspected that one of the involved drivers, Justin E. Colley, 31 years old of Sheridan, Illinois, was under the influence. Colley was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Colley was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC > .08. Colley was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
