On 05/02/25 Officers made contact with subject who was seen driving in the area of Wells St and E. Church St, Sandwich. It was known to the officer that the driver had a Revoked Illinois Driver’s License. Upon making contact with the driver, Tony Falkner, 59 years old of Sandwich, Illinois, officers suspected that he was under the influence. After further investigation it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol at which time he was placed under arrest. Falkner was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Falkner was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08. In addition, due to previous DUI and DWLR convictions he was charged with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (Class 2 Felony) and Aggravated Driving While License Revoked (Class 4 Felony). Falkner was released with a Notice to Appear at a future DeKalb County court date in Sycamore, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
