On 04/13/25 Officers responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically. While responding to the area Officer were informed the offending vehicle had been reported stolen. The offending vehicle was located and a high risk traffic stop was conducted in the 3400-block of W. Church St. The driver, Alexander Urbina, 22-year-old of West Chicago, Illinois, was taken into custody without incident. Urbina was subsequently charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and also issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended. Urbina was issued a Notice to Appear at a future Kendall County court date in Yorkville, Illinois for charge of Driving While License Suspended. Urbina was later transported to the DuPage County Jail by the West Chicago Police Department for housing on the charge of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
