On 03/09/25 Officers responded to the 600-block of E. 4th St, Sandwich, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation it was determined that a battery occurred involving family members. Dennis R. Sewell, 45-year-old of Sandwich, Illinois, was arrested on two counts of Domestic Battery (Class A Misdemeanor). Sewell was processed at the Sandwich Police Department and ultimately transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore, Illinois to await a hearing.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
