On 02/28/25 Officers investigated a complaint of a subject sleeping inside of a vehicle in the 500-block of Duvick Ave, Sandwich. Upon further investigation it was found that the subject, Nadia Venson, 27 years old of Aurora, Illinois, was in control of the vehicle and suspected of being under the influence. Venson was placed under arrest and transported to the Sandwich Police Department for processing. Venson was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol with a BAC over .08 and released with a Notice to Appear at a future Kendall County court date in Yorkville, Illinois.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
